Project in focus
A new home for the Penguin Parade.
The Penguin Parade draws over 600,000 visitors to Phillip Island each year. Its new visitor centre brings together classrooms, an AV theatre, restaurants, retail and staff areas, each with very different comfort needs.
We worked with the architect and Kane Constructions from the beginning, installing air handling units zoned to every space, fed with chilled and heated water from a thermal heat pump plant. A Tridium Niagara BMCS ties HVAC, energy monitoring, hydraulic and fire services into one system.
